Water Leaks
Do you see a large puddle outside your home or in your neighborhood even though it has not rained or snowed recently? Does this puddle appear to bubble when it reaches the surface? Do you have declining or fluctuating water flow or water pressure?
These may all be indicators of a leak. If you suspect a leak of any kind has occurred, please contact us IMMEDIATELY. Consumers are usually the first to notice any sizeable problem or reason for concern.
If a water leak was recently repaired within your water system, you may notice some sediment in your drinking water. This is an unavoidable side effect of leak repair even if the lines are properly flushed & disinfected. Since there is a loss in pressure, backsiphonage occurs. In combination with the sudden fluctuations in pressure and flow, this may draw sediment into the customer’s service line or could release corrosion by-products from the customer’s own internal piping. Try flushing your service line with an outside faucet for about 15-20 minutes. If the problem persists, contact us as soon as possible.
